Pack 3300 Family Campout Checklist

Required if on property, staying overnight or not: 

❑ Cub Scout Class B uniform, Pack or Scout T-shirts 

❑ Sturdy shoes that are suitable for hiking

Current Medical form. Required by Great Trail Council to use Camp Manatoc

❑ Medications, if needed, prescription or OTC, in possession of an adult

❑ Water bottle, filled with water

❑ Personal cup/mug, clearly labeled, non-breakable, reusable


Scout Essentials (In daypack carried by scout) 

❑ Pocketknife.  Cub Scouts who have earned Whittling Chip only.

❑ First aid kit.  Small kit -- just a few Band-Aids.

❑ Jacket or sweatshirt

❑ Rain gear (small poncho)

❑ Flashlight.  Extra batteries

❑ Trail food, snacks

❑ Water bottle, filled with water

❑ Insect repellant

❑ Sun protection – sunscreen, hat

❑ Whistle

❑ Small daypack to carry these items


Camp Life 

❑ Tent (tarp, stakes, rain fly)

❑ Marshmallow/hot dog poker stick

❑ Sleeping bag, pillow, camping pad or thick foam exercise mat or air mattress/cot

❑ Camp chair or lawn chair

❑ Work gloves - useful for handling firewood.

❑ Clothes pack - for clothes and toiletries

❑ Pants, socks, and under clothes

❑ Comfortable clothes for sleep.  Recommend sweatshirt and sweatpants.

❑ Coat/Hat/Gloves for cold weather camping. It will be colder at night and first thing in the morning.

❑ Toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and hand towel.

❑ Extra clothing including socks, boots or shoes, if desired.

❑ Fleece blanket - will add about 10°F to sleeping bag

❑ Ball cap or hat

❑ Jacket or sweatshirt for an extra layer 

❑ Outdoor games to play: Frisbee, ball glove and ball, board games, cards

❑ Phone charger.  Adults only, please. No electronics for Scouts at this camp
